From Garage Beginnings to Gallery Walls

Josh’s woodworking journey began in his wife’s grandmother’s garage, where he was drawn to the craft and soon inherited her tools.

Necessity first drove him to create his own furniture, but passion led him to Hawaii, where he apprenticed with renowned woodworker Frank Pullano. Guided by Pullano, Josh refined his skills and gained insight into gallery work, showcasing and selling his pieces in two galleries (Hanapepe and the Red Koi). Back home, he made the leap to woodworking full-time, blending simplicity, function, and nature-inspired design into every piece. His work now finds a home with both the local community and notable clients, including actress Angela Kinsey.

Today, Josh’s work captures a balance of craftsmanship and intentional design, inviting closer inspection and interaction.
